Dear Network Lead Pastors.
Welcome to your yearly interruption.
With the network growing to just over 50 churches this year, there will be even more leaders to connect with, who share your passion for creating churches unchurched people love!
Expect New friendships. Old friends. Challenging ideas. Honest conversations. Strategic clarity. Space to breathe. And insight from our special guest speaker Matt Johnson, Lead Pastor of Journey church in Kentucky.
This gathering is a yearly interruption.
It’s a chance to think beyond next Sunday. To sharpen your strategic instincts. To invest in your soul. To be challenged, encouraged, and reminded why you started this journey in the first place.
Because creating churches unchurched people love doesn’t happen by accident. And neither does becoming the leader God is calling you to be.
EVENT SPEAKERS
Matt Johnson
Director of ICN North America
Matt was formerly the Lead Pastor of Journey Church in Kentucky, which is known for its crazy good volunteer experience. Honestly, spend two minutes chatting to any one of these folks, and you’ll be serving alongside Matt and his church community in no time. Matt is passionate about reaching people who don’t “do church” and inviting them into a church experience focused on deep and transformative discipleship relationships. In his current role, Matt develops leaders across the US to become healthy, intentional leaders who’re creating Jesus-centred, outward-facing churches in their communities. We can’t wait for you to meet him.
Duncan Banks
Further Faster Network
Duncan was born in 1963 and is still alive today. Since then, he’s been a touring actor, started a church from a friend’s kitchen table, spoken at conferences around the world, raised three boys, a dog, and two gerbils, and written two books, one of which got translated into German! These days, he’s the Director of The Further Faster Network in the UK, Ireland, and Channel Islands. Which is a stroke of luck, because he has a passion to help leaders grow their churches by reaching unchurched people.
